“You have to die a few times before you can really live.”
What a time to begin again. And I'm not only talking about the new year- but every new moment. You don't like what you just did, begin again. Dwell in the beginner's mind - eager and in awe.
Take a scrap of paper and write upon it something that held you back last year. Take that scrap and fold it in half and half again.
Find a lighter.
Burn that shit.
It's time to go back and begin again. All that holds you down can be left behind, you have the power to go forward. Last week we forgave ourselves and others for all of the pitfalls and tears and possible mistakes. This week we lie in the white light gathered above our heads in our highest chakra. We can realize, as a friend so lovingly reminded me this weekend, "I am not my body". You are so much more. So let us dive wildly forward and upward- let us transcend.
Take a scrap of paper and write 1 word that will define your new year. Tuck them away somewhere safe. Say this 1 word every morning, afternoon, and night. Next week we will delve into the beginnings of our manifestations.
This week we are beginning (and will complete) a 5 part video series called: Begin Again. It is a series of morning/afternoon/whenever yoga classes that will target different parts of the body each week. Intertwined in these classes are pranayama and active intention setting. Expect to: sweat, stretch, and manifest.
with love and blessings,
