Gooey Balls (Vegan, Raw, Magical)

Heehee. Nothing better than a vegan-sweety-pickmeup in the middle of the day. I make a batch of these gooey balls, pop them in the freezer and snack on them throughout the week. A little healthy energy burst for the day droopies. All with easily on hand ingredients.

Gooey Balls
Approx time: 15 minutes

1 cup raisins
4 tbsp peanut butter
1/3 cup real maple syrup (or sub honey)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cups old fashioned oats
Optional:
coconut flakes
cacao nibs
hemp seeds

Pour raisins, honey, salt, vanilla extract, and peanut butter all in the blender. Put that baby on high speed and blend until it begins to stick and ball up in the center. Dump in the oats. Blend till smooth. Pour your optional toppings in a bowl and get ready to roll. Scoop the goop into little balls and roll into your toppings (this part IS optional, but so necessary). 

For a butterfingery flavor - roll in cacao nibs
For a snickers tropical jam - roll in coconut
For a hippy crunch - roll in hemp seeds

Freeze, refrigerate, or place straight into mouth.
